Mayor of the City of Jacksonville
According to coj.net: Mayor Lenny Curry is committed to bringing the community together as One City, One Jacksonville. To achieve this, he seeks to engage citizens in communities throughout Jacksonville to learn more about their needs, interests and priorities.
Persons interested in requesting or sharing information with the mayor can write to him at:
City Hall at St. James
Suite 400
117 W. Duval St. Jacksonville, FL, 32202
Or submit an email to: mayorlennycurry@coj.net.
Share your remarks with local media.
You can share your thoughts about a voluntary half-cent sales tax to support school facility improvements for all students in Duval County Public Schools with your local media outlets.
To submit to The Florida Times-Union:
Email letters to Editorial Page Editor Mike Clark: mike.clark@jacksonville.com.
Tips: Letters have a better chance of being published if they include these traits:
1. Brevity helps. A lead letter is 350 words, an opinion column is 600 words. The Florida Times-Union prefers lead letters over columns. For regular letters we suggest a maximum length of about 200 words.
2. Cite sources for important facts and quotations so they can be checked.
3. Avoid personal comments. Stick to the issues.
4. Be sure to list your name, address and phone number for confirmation.
